Bird feeder with camera and solar panel The BirdyCam is a bird feeder with camera and automatic motion detection. Equipped with a highly sensitive PIR sensor, it detects every movement within three meters and automatically takes photos or videos in the immediate vicinity.
If a bird, squirrel or other animal moves in front of the lens, the camera triggers and begins recording within 0.8 seconds.
In addition to the built-in 1200 mAh battery, the BirdyCam has a double solar panel that provides continuous power when the sun is shining, so the device hardly needs to be charged. If the sun does not shine sufficiently over a longer period of time, the BirdyCam battery can be conveniently charged using a USB cable.
In addition to the camera with automatic motion detection, the BirdyCam also functions as a food dispenser. Thanks to the friendly shape of a house and the inconspicuous green color, the BirdyCam is readily accepted by the birds as a reliable feeding and drinking place.
