Reolink KEEN Ranger PT game camera with 4G/LTE connection. The terrain pattern game camera with 2K resolution can be installed almost anywhere. It is sufficient that the installation location only has a working 4G LTE/3G network. The camera is also supplied with a solar panel with a terrain pattern.

The resolution of the KEEN Ranger PT game camera is no less than 2560 x 1440, with a 95° horizontal field of view. The camera body is also motorized (Pan&Tilt), so you can control the camera directly from the application by turning or tilting the image. In addition to the passive infrared sensor, the camera also has intelligent motion detection, meaning the camera can detect animals* and people. The camera uses the newer and more efficient H.265 video compression for recordings and also supports two-way audio.

Commissioning is easy and fast KEEN Ranger PT comes with a built-in battery and a pre-installed 32 GB microSD memory card (replaceable, support max. 128 GB). The user only needs to charge the camera and then install the sim card (nanoSIM) of his own operator in the camera. Connect the power to the camera, download the Reolink application from the app store (Android/iOS) and follow the instructions. KEEN Ranger PT is not dependent on fixed broadband, wireless wifi or mains power. The only limitations are the camera's IP classification, your own imagination and mobile network coverage. The supplied solar panel almost completely eliminates the need to charge the battery during sunny months. By default, KEEN Ranger PT saves to a microSD memory card. Thanks to intelligent motion detection, the camera can detect animals and people in the image separately. An excellent feature is also the very fast start of recording. At best, the camera is able to start recording only after 0.5 motion detection. Thanks to instant recording, objects detected by the camera cannot escape before the recording starts. IR lights, invisible to the eye, are also an excellent feature for a game camera. The camera contains 12 940 nm IR lights that do not shine or shimmer in the dark. For motion detection, the camera also has a passive infrared sensor, the sensitivity of which can be adjusted. When detecting movement, the camera can send a notification and/or email. The camera also has support for interval videos (time-lapse). The camera is set to take pictures at the desired time interval and a video is automatically created from the series of pictures.

The Reolink application is easy to use, versatile and works in both Finnish and Swedish (there is no separate language selection, it selects the operating language based on the language assigned to the mobile device). It is possible to control several different Reolink cameras with one and the same application. One camera can be used by eight different users at the same time. The main user can view the camera's live image in full resolution, and seven other users can then view the camera's live image in lower resolution.

At the end of April 2022, Reolink has launched cloud storage for selected Reolink camera models (KEEN Ranger PT is supported). The user can choose between Basic Plan, Standard Plan and Premier Plan storage options.

The Basic Plan can be activated for one Reolink camera and the service is currently free. In the Basic Plan service, 7 days of storage history is stored in the cloud (max. 1 GB). The standard price of the Standard Plan service is €5.99/month and the service stores 30 days (30 GB) of recordings from a maximum of five cameras. The normal price of the Premier Plan service is €11.89/month and the service stores 30 days (80 GB) of recordings from a maximum of 10 cameras. Cloud storage does not support continuous storage.

The average battery life of the Reolink KEEN Ranger PT camera varies depending on usage. The camera battery can last even more than a month. The battery life is essentially affected by the operating temperature, the strength of the mobile network, the use of the camera, and the number of motion detections. The included solar panel reduces the need for charging in sunny months.

A subscription with a fixed monthly fee and no data cap is recommended. Data usage depends on the specified resolution and bit rate.

*The camera can recognize e.g. the following animals: moose, bear, wolf, wild boar, fox and lynx. In addition to sight, the camera may also recognize other animals.

Note, the Reolink KEEN Ranger PT requires a SIM card and a connection to work.
