The DJI Mic 3 transmitter is compact, lightweight and discreet. It can be attached with either a magnet or a clip.
The internal storage offers 32 GB of memory and 24-bit and 32-bit float support. Recording is dual-file: the system stores both the original and an algorithm-enhanced version, making post-production easier and preventing loss of material.
Flexible level control includes two modes: automatic mode prevents sound distortion in outdoor environments, while dynamic mode keeps the volume steady in indoor environments.
The sound settings include three presets: normal produces a natural and balanced sound, rich emphasizes low frequencies, and bright emphasizes high frequencies. In addition, the transmitter offers two levels of noise attenuation, with a basic level suitable for quiet indoor environments and a high level for noisy environments.
The transmitter features integrated timecode insertion during recording, making editing easier in multi-camera productions. Battery life is up to eight hours, and a quick charge of five minutes gives around two hours of use.
