Unifi USW-Lite-8-PoE is a control Layer 2 switch. The device has eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which have 802.3af / at PoE + support
Ubiquiti UniFi products are designed for business use and are easy to deploy and manage with the included UniFi Controller software. Therefore, the use of the devices does not require any separately purchased license or user fee. The software runs on a PC, Mac, or Linux machine.
