Tips!
For the best slush consistency, aim for a sugar content of around 8%. Too little sugar means a longer freezing time, and too much can make the mixture icy.
Experiment with your own flavours using berries, fruit, chocolate, juice, or other favourites.
Let the yoghurt ferment longer if you want a thicker, tangier consistency.
Use a little more yoghurt culture if you want to shorten the fermentation time.
Save a few spoonfuls of finished yoghurt as a starter culture for the next batch.
Strain the yoghurt in the fridge for 2–4 hours if you want extra-thick yoghurt.
