Neewer MRC HD 55mm UV filter - this is a protective UV filter. This UV filter reduces haze and reduces the effect of ultraviolet (UV) rays, while also improving contrast. It is perfect for photographing at high altitudes and snow scenes without a blue tint. Keep this filter on your lens to protect it from dust, scratches, and impacts.
HIGH-QUALITY OPTICAL GLASS
High-quality optical glass protects the lens from dirt, scratches, fingerprints, and accidental damage.
30-LAYER OPTICAL COATING
The multi-layer UV filter, featuring 30 layers of optical coating and transmitting up to 99.8% of light (with a minimum light reflection of less than 0.1%), blocks ultraviolet rays from 300 nm to 410 nm to reduce flare and ghosting and ensure accurate color reproduction. The coatings are also antistatic, oil-resistant, water-resistant, and scratch-resistant.
ROBUST FILTER FRAME
The filter frame is made of aluminum and magnesium alloy, making it strong and durable. Thanks to precise manufacturing and a matte black anodized finish, the screw-on filter is easy to use, and the metal filter frame reflects less light. The 5.5mm thick filter is only 3.5mm deep when attached to the lens to avoid lens vignetting - ideal for wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
