Boya Dynamic Handheld Microphone BY-BM57 (02090BNL)

The “Boya” dynamic handheld instrument microphone BY-BM57 is a cardioid microphone ideally suited for recording instrument sounds, such as drums or guitars. The dynamic microphone features a built-in “pop” filter. It comes standard with an adjustable microphone holder and a five-meter XLR – 6.5 mm cable.

A wide dynamic range (the difference between the quietest and loudest sounds the microphone can properly capture) makes the BY-BM57 an ideal choice for recording instruments. For example, the sound level of drums can vary greatly. The cardioid polar pattern allows sounds to be heard clearly and filters out ambient noise. This allows the BY-BM57 to record sounds with professional quality.

If you don’t want to hold the microphone in your hand, you can mount it in the included holder, which has a 3/8" internal thread connection at the bottom. Using the integrated tilt system, you can easily position the BY-BM57 in any position you like. Connect the “Boya” microphone to your desired device, such as an audio mixer or an XLR audio recording device, via the 3-pin XLR cable (see Additional Accessories). Since the BY-BM57 is dynamic, no power is required to use the microphone, so no batteries will be needed. For safety and easy portability, a case is included as standard.



Using the Boya BY-BM57

When looking for a reliable microphone that captures bright, clear sounds and low background noise, the Boya BY-BM57 is very effective. You can hold the microphone in your hand or simply place it in the holder and attach it to a tripod (not included). The included XLR - 6.5 mm cable is five meters long, allowing you to use the microphone at a greater distance from the audio device. XLR extension cables are available if desired.
