The Joie STEADI R129 car seat with canopy is designed to provide a safe and comfortable ride for children from birth up to around four years old. The seat meets the strict ECE R129 safety standards, including side impact tests, and offers versatile adjustment options for both rear-facing and forward-facing installation. The included canopy protects the child from the sun and adds extra comfort.

Safety

The STEADI R129 car seat features a Tri-Protect™ headrest with Intelli-Fit™ memory foam, providing three levels of head protection. The seat uses 5-point harnesses with padding on the shoulders and below. Installation is done using the car’s 3-point seat belt, with double belt locks that enhance attachment security.

Comfort

The seat includes a removable and padded infant head and body support that can be taken out as the child grows. Four different recline positions allow for a comfortable setup in both rear-facing and forward-facing modes. Soft and pleasant fabrics, along with removable and washable covers, make cleaning the seat easier.

Practicality

The canopy protects the child from harmful sun rays (UPF 50+), and its mesh visor keeps the child’s eyes shielded without obstructing the view. The GrowTogether™ headrest and harness adjust simultaneously, and the harness tightens easily with a single pull, making everyday use effortless.

Usage Range
