Product description
Triple Iron is a strong and versatile iron product. It is built on the basis of two high-quality iron forms: iron bisglycinate and ferrofumarate. Iron bisglycinate and ferrofumarate are both Fe2+ non-heme iron. A third, unique component of the product is lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein which itself contains a small amount of iron.
Vitamin C has also been added to the product to further increase iron absorption.
What is iron needed for? Among other things, iron helps reduce fatigue and tiredness, and promotes normal red blood cell and haemoglobin formation. Iron levels in the body can be measured by blood tests through haemoglobin and ferritin levels. It is therefore always advisable to measure your own iron levels before taking an iron supplement, as you should not eat too much iron.
To ensure iron absorption, Purifier's Tripla Iron is best taken on an empty stomach. It is also advisable to avoid taking calcium supplements and coffee and tea at the same time, as they impair iron absorption.
