Product description
The harder you pedal, the brighter the Varia UT 800 illuminates, helping to avoid dangerous situations at high speeds. When connected to a compatible Edge cycling computer, the device uses GPS speed to automatically adjust the beam intensity. The 800-lumen Varia UT 800 is certainly bright enough to detect obstacles when riding hard. When riding slower, the device reduces the light intensity to extend battery life. It’s time to move to smarter headlights, whether you’re pedaling day or night, on-road or off-road.
Compared to the previous version, the weight is less than 130 g (222 g), the light output is a stronger 800 lm (600 lm), the mount also supports GoPro brackets, and there are 5 lighting modes (3 pcs).
The device requires a separate connection to compatible Garmin devices - See the Recommendations Purchasing Manager Recommendations section.
