PANASONIC DMR-UBC70EGS 4K UHD Scaling Blu-ray Disc Player and 500GB HD Set-top Box, Silver (DMR-UBC70EGS)

The Panasonic DMR-UBC70EGS is an HD set-top box that allows you to record two programs at the same time. The sleek black device is a great accessory for an Ultra HD TV with a 4K-scaling Blu-ray player! It also supports 3D Blu-ray Discs.
The player has an HD dual tuner for DVB-C or DVB-T2 broadcasts and two CI + module slots. This means you can connect two different smartcard readers to it, allowing you to store one subscription channel and watch another.

The player has a built-in 500GB hard disk and can also be connected to an external USB disk for additional storage. With the Snooze function, you can pause the TV picture, for example, during a phone call. The DMR-UBC70EGS offers up to five times longer recording time than its predecessors.

The recorder's wireless network connection offers a wide range of uses. With the downloadable Media Center App for mobile devices, you can watch either pre-recorded programs or live TV on your portable device. You can also schedule recordings remotely. DLNA, WiFi Direct, and Miracast enable easy-to-use and versatile media playback capabilities for all compatible devices.

The Panasonic DMR-UBC70EGS also works great as a music player, as it is designed to produce HRA-level sound. The player can play DSD (5.6 MHz / 2.8 MHz) and ALAC music files. Just connect the device to your home audio system so you can enjoy music that matches the sound quality of a master studio recording.

The player also features a web browser and a rich selection of applications such as Netflix and YouTube. The player has two USB ports: the front port is easy to use for media playback, while the rear port is for an external hard drive.
