Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS is a 27-inch gaming monitor that offers precise 2560 x 1440 pixel Quad HD resolution and the benefits of a QD-OLED panel. The monitor's high 280 Hz refresh rate and ultra-fast 0.03 ms response time make it suitable for demanding gaming. Additionally, the wide 178-degree viewing angle, high contrast ratio, and DisplayHDR 400 True Black support ensure accurate and clear image quality. The monitor also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies to ensure a smooth gaming experience.

Image Quality and Technology

QD-OLED technology combines the deep blacks and high contrast of an OLED panel with QD quantum dots, which improves color reproduction and brightness levels. The monitor covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making colors look natural and vibrant. The matte surface reduces reflections, so the image remains clear under different lighting conditions.

Smooth Gaming Experience

The 280 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GTG response time minimize latency and motion blur. The monitor supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies, which eliminate screen tearing and flickering. Flicker-free technology and low blue light reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions.

Adjustability and Connectivity

The monitor comes with a detachable stand, allowing the height to be adjusted by up to 11 cm, and additionally, the monitor can be tilted, swiveled, and placed in portrait mode thanks to the pivot function. The VESA 100 x 100 mm mount allows for wall mounting. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode and 15 W Power Delivery, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Security and Practicality

The monitor features a Kensington lock slot, which adds device security. A proximity sensor detects user presence and can help in managing power consumption. Asus OLED Care technology takes care of the panel's longevity and image quality.

External Dimensions and Weight

The monitor is 609 mm wide and 449 mm high with the stand, and the depth is 188 mm. The weight is 6.1 kg with the stand, making it easy to place on a desk or mount to a wall.
