Enjoy the full version of Mario Kart 8 wherever and whenever you want. You can play with up to 8 of your friends locally. All Wii U tracks and characters are included, as are all DLC tracks and characters. The game also includes a few new characters such as Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl familiar from Splatoon, King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr.!
In addition, Battle Mode has been revamped to include Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast game modes, as well as new tracks called Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium, as well as classics such as (GCN) Luigi’s Mansion and (SNES) Battle Course 1. Players can now use two items, including items familiar from previous Mario Kart games like Boo, which steals items from other characters, and Feather, which lets you jump higher in Battle Mode.
The game also includes a new control mode that makes it easier for beginners and young children to play in the 200cc class. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can be played in 1080p mode.
The Nintendo Labo Variety Kit includes a Joy-Con Motorbike add-on. You can now use it to control Mario Kart 8.
