Amazon Echo Dot 5th Generation Black, B09B8X9RGM

The Amazon Echo Dot is a voice-controlled device with a small integrated speaker. You can also connect it to your speakers or headphones via Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm stereo cable to enjoy stereo sound through the speakers of your choice. The Echo Dot connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, provide information, news, sports scores, weather forecasts, and more. Prime members can also ask Alexa to order available previously ordered products or many other Prime products. The Echo Dot hears you from across the room, even in noisy environments or when music is playing. If you want to use Echo, just say the activation word "Alexa" and Echo will respond. If you have more than one Echo or Echo Dot, Alexa will respond from the device closest to you thanks to ESP (Echo Spatial Perception). With its sleek and compact design, the Amazon Echo Dot is a practical addition to any room. With the integrated speaker, you can place the Echo Dot in your bedroom and use it as a smart alarm clock that can also turn off your lights. Or use the Echo Dot in the kitchen to easily set timers and much more – all with just your voice. The Echo Dot can also be connected directly via the 3.5 mm stereo cable or Bluetooth to speakers, so you can control your stereo system in your living room or study with your voice. With the Amazon Echo Dot, you can control Amazon Music with just your voice – just ask for your favorite artist or song, a playlist from Prime Music, or let Alexa choose music for you. Listen to more than 40 million songs and the latest releases with Amazon Music Unlimited. Use the Amazon Echo Dot to turn on the lights from your bed, adjust the thermostat from your favorite armchair, or dim the lights from your sofa during movie night – all without lifting a finger. The Echo Dot works with smart home devices such as lamps, light switches, thermostats, and others from WeMo, Philips Hue, Netatmo, Home Connect, Innogy, Tp-link, Magenta SmartHome, and Tado. Beneath the light ring are seven microphones that feature beamforming technology and noise reduction. Thanks to far-field voice recognition, the Amazon Echo Dot hears your questions from any direction – even in noisy environments or when music is playing. If you want to use the Echo Dot, just say the activation word "Alexa." The Echo Dot will then light up and send audio data to the cloud, where the Alexa Voice Service instantly processes and answers your request. Alexa – the brain behind the Amazon Echo Dot – is automatically updated via the cloud, constantly learning and receiving new features and skills. The more you use the Echo Dot, the faster it learns your speech habits, your vocabulary, and your personal preferences. In recent months, we have added Amazon order tracking, IFTTT, local Yelp searches, movie listings, calendar support for Google and Outlook.com, Audible audiobooks, text-to-speech for Kindle eBooks, and hundreds of new skills from third-party providers.
