Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ – high-speed NVMe support for Raspberry Pi 5
The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ allows for the connection of M.2 peripherals, such as NVMe drives and AI accelerators, to the Raspberry Pi 5's PCIe 2.0 interface. It offers transfer speeds of up to 500 Mt/s and significantly expands the Pi's capabilities.
Compatibility and Performance
The HAT+ utilizes the Raspberry Pi 5's 16-pin FPC connector and converts it into an M.2 M Key slot. It supports 2230 and 2242 form factor M.2 devices and is capable of delivering up to 3 A of power to them.
Easy Installation and HAT+ Compatibility
The device follows the Raspberry Pi HAT+ standard and is automatically recognized by the latest Raspberry Pi software. The necessary parts for installation, including compatibility with an active cooler, are included.
