Product description
The most lubricating hot wax on the market, which has broken the test standards of the prestigious Zero Friction Cycling laboratory! The addition of the popular Black Diamond chain [additive] is transferred to the solid Rex wax base. Black Diamond chain wax combines Rex's more than 70 years of experience in paraffin waxes with the most lubricating Black Diamond additive technology on the market. The hot wax keeps the entire drivetrain clean and repels dirt far better than conventional chain lubricants. With a sufficient 480g pack, you can wax your chains dozens of times, making waxing very economical. Switching to hot waxing will make cleaning your chains and sprockets much easier, and prevent wear and tear on your chains and sprockets.
The pack contains 12 x 40g wax pieces, 1 of which is a Black Diamond additive. The normal mixing ratio is 11+1, but for racing you can add the additive up to 4+1.
In the vacuum mixing process, the chains are removed from the bike and placed in a pot of melted wax. The chains are carefully removed from the hot wax, allowed to cool and bent. One waxing cycle lasts for about 500 km of driving.
