The Arctic MX-4 continues the triumph of the high-quality Arctic MX series with its even better thermal conductivity. The MX-4 contains no metals at all and does not conduct electricity making it safer and easier to use. The thermal conductivity of the MX-4 is based on small carbon fiber microparticles that fill even the smallest cavities in the surface of the processor and heat sink. Properly applied, thermal paste lasts up to eight years.
