The Freewell 52mm base ring is an indispensable part of the Real Locking VND/CPL system, enabling you to securely and quickly mount filters to your lens. Crafted from precision-milled aluminum, it provides a solid mount and compatibility with the rest of the system—from VND filters to lens caps. The 52mm model fits lenses with a corresponding thread and allows the system to be extended to smaller diameters.

The kit includes a two-snap protective cap with a built-in NFC module. It allows instant access to user manuals, warranties, and support materials—simply bring your smartphone close. The cover effectively protects the lens or mounted filter from dust, scratches, and mechanical damage during transport.
