The Freewell ND32 filter is a neutral gray filter that reduces the amount of light reaching the lens by as much as 5 stops. Designed specifically for the Real Locking VND/CPL system, it performs perfectly in very bright conditions—such as when shooting or filming at midday in full sunlight. Thanks to True Color optics, the image retains natural colors, with no color distortion.

Full control over exposure and movement
The filter allows you to freely operate the aperture and exposure time—even when shooting with the aperture maximally open. It enables you to achieve effects such as motion blur, smoothing water surfaces, or soft clouds when shooting with a longer shutter speed. It can be used on its own or as part of a larger Real Locking Series filter set, allowing you to flexibly adjust exposure to suit conditions.

Quick installation and safe transportation
Thanks to the locking mechanism, the filter mounts without the need for threading—simply press the side tabs and clip it into the L1 base ring or another compatible system filter. Once attached, it holds securely, with no backlash or accidental rotation. It comes with a shockproof case that protects the ND32 filter from dust and scratches, while easily fitting into a photo backpack.
