The CMF Speaker M by Nothing is a compact Bluetooth speaker designed for music, movies, gaming, and desktop use. Its 35 W RMS dual-driver setup, Adaptive Tuning, Ultra Bass, and Wide Soundstage deliver balanced sound across various scenarios. An integrated handle, up to s18 hours of playback time, and IP68 rating make it easy to use both indoors and outdoors.

35 W Dual-Driver Sound

Inside a sealed enclosure, a 25 W bass driver and a 10 W tweeter focus on their respective frequency ranges. This design adds power to the bass while providing clarity to vocals, highs, and instruments. The frequency range is 60 Hz–20 kHz. Hardware-level Adaptive Tuning analyzes playback in real-time and automatically adjusts output and EQ curves.

Bass, Soundstage, and Equalizer

Ultra Bass enhances controlled low-frequency power. Wide Soundstage expands the sense of space from a single speaker. In the Nothing X app, you can select Balanced, More Bass, More Treble, or Voice profiles or fine-tune the sound. Night Mode reduces low frequencies and limits maximum volume to about 60 percent of Standard Mode.

Stereo Mode and Auracast Party Mode

Two identical CMF Speaker units can operate as separate left and right channels. Auracast-based Party Mode synchronizes playback across two or more compatible speakers. Supported models from other manufacturers can also be included.

Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and USB-C Audio

Bluetooth 6.0 provides over 100 meters of range in open test environments. The speaker can be connected to two Bluetooth sources simultaneously. NFC Tap to Pair, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair speed up pairing with compatible devices. USB-C audio enables digital plug-and-play playback from a computer or smartphone. Latency can be under 60 ms in supported test conditions. Auto Wake Up connected to an external power source wakes the speaker when a previously paired device reconnects.

Portable and Customizable Vertical Design

Inspired by a milk carton, the vertical shape stands out from horizontal cylindrical speakers. The integrated handle makes it easy to move from room to room or outside. A physical control knob manages playback, tracks, volume, and Ultra Bass. Separate buttons control power, Bluetooth pairing, and Auracast. The front panel and control knob are interchangeable. A standardized interface also supports custom compatible 3D-printed parts.

Battery and IP68 Rating

Playback time is up to 18 hours at 50% volume with Ultra Bass enabled. A full charge takes about three hours, and a 10-minute charge provides up to one hour of playback. The IP68 rating protects against dust, sand, rain, and splashes. The IP68 rating is tested up to 1.5 meters depth for 30 minutes.
