Nikon MONARCH M5 12X50 binoculars offer a powerful 12x magnification combined with large 50 mm objective lenses, ensuring bright and sharp views in nature. The lightweight and streamlined design of these binoculars makes them easy to use and comfortable even during extended use without a tripod. The waterproof construction and fog-proof coating ensure functionality even in challenging weather conditions.
Lightweight and easy-to-use design
The MONARCH M5 12X50 weighs only 650 g, which is an extremely light weight for a full-sized 50 mm binocular. The glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate body fits well in the hand, and the rubber coating ensures a secure grip. Rubber eyecups that are adjustable make it easier to find the viewing point, and tethered lens caps prevent the covers from getting lost.
High-quality optics and clear images
The large 50 mm objective lenses provide excellent light-gathering capability, and Nikon's multi-layered lenses and ED glass guarantee a bright and high-contrast image with natural colors. Roof prisms and dielectric multi-layer coatings further improve image quality, allowing details to stand out precisely even in low light.
Durable and weather-resistant construction
The binoculars are waterproof (withstanding immersion to a depth of 1 meter for 10 minutes) and fog-proof thanks to nitrogen filling and O-ring seals. This ensures reliable operation in damp and variable outdoor conditions.
Versatile use
The binoculars are well-suited for birdwatching, nature observation, and stargazing. The large 60.8-degree apparent field of view helps in tracking moving objects, and the 16.4 mm eye relief ensures a clear field of view even for eyeglass users.
Accessories and compatibility
A TRA-3 tripod adapter is available for the binoculars, allowing them to be attached to a tripod for longer observation periods.
