Place the cover over the handlebars so that the seam is at the bottom and in the centre of the handlebars. Sew the cover from one end to the other; to begin with, measure out the appropriate length of the thread supplied with the set. This is roughly twice the length of the section to be sewn, i.e. from one end to the other.2. Start at one arm, inserting the needle from the inside of the leather.3. Sew around the handlebar, weaving the thread through every other stitch in an S-shaped pattern. Remember to catch only the thread, without piercing the leather.4. Pull the thread tight so that the edge of the leather joins neatly.
