Product description
The UX II series specifically targets entry-level photographers seeking filters at an affordable price.
"UX" in the series name stands for "User eXperience," intended to encompass all the experiences users will gain through using these filters and everything that accompanies them. By naming this series UX, we aim to offer users enhanced individual experiences through all activities related to photography.
Control reflections
It is widely recognized that Circular Polarizing filters (CIR-PL) are used to reduce light reflections from non-metallic surfaces. The maximum point is typically the most utilized position of the CIR-PL filter when reflections are minimized. However, there are instances when reflections must be enhanced or adjusted according to the photographer’s intention. In this regard, we can say that a CIR-PL filter is not for cutting reflections, but for controlling them.
Enhance contrast
CIR-PL filters can also enhance the saturation of the sky and leaves by cutting light reflections from tiny moisture droplets and dust particles concentrated in the air. This makes white clouds appear more vibrant and increases the overall contrast of the image.
The UX II CIR-PL filter is compatible with both film and digital cameras. The structure of polarizing filters incorporates a polarizing film between two glass panes, and the front frame is designed to rotate, positioning the polarizing film at the desired angle.
The threads on the edges allow for the installation of other filters and lens caps. The slim frame of the UX II CIR-PL ensures no vignetting occurs, even with wide-angle lenses.
