Then remove the bottom cover and place the tester tip (two pins) in the brake fluid reservoir. Device readings: A. Green LED: The brake fluid does not contain water. B. Yellow LED: less than 1% water in the system. B. Two yellow LEDs: 2% water in the system - content within normal limits. C. Red LED: 3% water in the system - fluid replacement recommended. Braking system up to 50% less effective! C. Two red LEDs: more than 4% water in the system - BRAKE FLUID MUST BE REPLACED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! MAINTENANCE: Replace the battery if the green LED does not light up when you press the button on top of the “switch.” Flashing red LEDs - replace the battery.
