The new advanced LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 14-42 mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. interchangeable lens for LUMIX G Micro System cameras meets the requirements of the Micro Four Thirds System standard. It features an electronically controlled zoom. The unique Nano Surface Coating reduces ghost images and reflections, ensuring a natural feel to the images.
The lens system consists of nine elements divided into 8 groups, ensuring excellent contrast throughout the entire zoom range. There are four aspherical lenses, which reduces the size and keeps distortions minimal even in the 28 mm wide-angle position. Two ED lenses effectively correct chromatic aberration. This compact zoom lens is extremely small: 26.8 mm long. It weighs approximately 95 grams, making it easy to carry along.
