Black Diamond Beta Light 45 Backpack, Medium (BD6800240040MED1)

The Black Diamond Beta Light 45 backpack is a super-lightweight carrying device for longer hikes with lightweight gear. The backpack is mainly made of top quality, lightweight and, considering its weight, durable Challenge Sailcloth Ultra 200 fabric. In the more abrasion-prone areas, the more durable Ultra 400 material is used. Combined with the roll-up closure, the waterproof fabric makes the backpack highly resistant to the elements. However, the seams are not sealed, so it's not fully waterproof.

Inspired by running backpacks, the bib-shaped carrying system distributes the weight evenly and keeps the backpack firmly in place. The shoulder straps also have additional pockets for things like snacks. The detachable hipbelt also has zipped pockets on both sides. The backpack also has removable aluminium support rails and a sturdy support plate. When fully equipped, the backpack weighs only 890 g. Without the aluminium supports, backing plate and hip belt, the backpack weighs only 521 g.

The backpack has a stretchy mesh pocket on the front and elastic pockets on the sides. Ultra-lightweight yet functional compression straps help to securely bind your belongings and fasten lightweight items to the outside of the backpack. Inside the backpack there is a place for a hydration pouch.
