The Targus 16" Sagano EcoSmart Travel is a spacious and stylish backpack made of recycled materials, whether you're traveling by plane or bicycle.

The backpack has its own separate padded section for a laptop of up to 16", and in addition, the backpack has a very spacious main section for books, folders and other belongings. The Sagano Travel backpack is equipped with safety features, such as the SafePort Sling Protection System, which protects your laptop, e.g. if the backpack falls to the ground, while the RFID pocket helps keep e.g. your bank card safe from remote readers. The main section also has handy little pockets for pens, keys and other small items. Two spacious front pockets keep accessories within easy reach, and the mesh pockets on the sides keep e.g. water bottles within easy reach.

The SafePort Sling Protection System is a suspension in the computer section that is attached between the opposite walls of the main compartment, so the laptop is cradled off the bottom of the bag. For this reason, if the backpack is accidentally dropped, contact between the device and the bottom of the bag is avoided.

The padded shoulder straps and mesh breathable back cover make the backpack comfortable and less abrasive on the heel. The backpack's material is water-repellent fabric, but in case of heavier rain, the backpack has a rain cover that can be pulled out from a hidden pocket to protect the entire backpack.

Targus EcoSmart® bags and backpacks are made from GRS-certified recycled materials with the environment and smooth travel in mind. For the production of this 16" Sagano backpack, e.g. used 9 recycled plastic bottles, which were thus kept away from ending up burdening the world's oceans and landfills. Plastic bottles were collected, crushed into small flakes, re-polymerized into plastic shavings, heated and spun into yarn that was sewn into this EcoSmart® bag fabric. The packaging is also responsibly produced and FSC® certified.
