Jalo Helsinki Dome 10 fire alarm, chrome, optical, 11cm (J4B-11)

The Jalo Helsingin Kupu 10 fire alarm was designed by Harri Koskinen and has received awards for its design. The Kupu 10 fire alarm is available in five different colored textile surfaces and a chrome-plated version.

The dome 10 operates with optical smoke detection technology. Photoelectric or optical detection is the most common and reliable technology in fire alarms; when smoke is detected, a loud and continuous 85 dB warning sound is given from the detector. Jalo fire alarms also have a diagnostic function that allows it to check itself at regular intervals to ensure proper operation of the device throughout the life of the device.

The alarm has a quick installation with 3M mounting tape or mounting screws, both included in the package. The fire alarm is activated during installation, you only remove the protective plastic from the tape. Authorities recommend replacing the fire alarm no later than every ten years; the Kupu 10 fire alarm does not require battery replacement during its recommended lifetime.
