Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift - Canon RF (00762FDP)

The Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift, upon its release, was the world’s widest perspective correction lens for full-frame cameras with a Canon RF mount. Venus Optics engineers once again pushed the boundaries of the photographic world. Near-zero distortion, ±11mm correction, a 360° rotatable shift module, and exceptional image quality make this lens ideal for architectural and interior photography.

PERSPECTIVE CONTROL

The maximum shift value is ±11mm for full-frame cameras and ±8mm for medium-format cameras (e.g., Fujifilm GFX / Hasselblad X1D). Using the shift option, photographers can easily correct perspective to eliminate distortion and achieve straight lines in their images. A maximum ±11mm shift value allows photographers to create exceptionally precise and wide panoramic images.

WIDEST SHIFT IN THE WORLD

The Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift lens has a field of view of 110°. The wide perspective provides photographers with great flexibility when shooting architecture and interiors in confined and narrow spaces.

EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY

The lens construction consists of 17 optical elements in 11 groups. Two aspherical lenses, three low-dispersion glasses, and new coatings minimize chromatic aberration, distortion, flares, and ghosting to an almost invisible minimum.

NO DISTORTION

The image produced by the lens is characterized by detail, color, and contrast. Venus Optics Zero-D lenses are ideal for architectural photography as all straight lines are preserved.

GET EXTREMELY CLOSE

The minimum focusing distance allows you to get as close as 20cm to the subject. This provides many interesting macro photography possibilities and facilitates the creation of multi-plane frames with a unique perspective.

STAR EFFECT

With the 5-blade aperture closed, a beautiful and well-defined 10-point “star” effect is achieved. These appear in the image instead of the sun or other light sources, such as street lamps, car headlights, or Christmas tree lights.

360° ROTATABLE

An additional ring allows the lens to be rotated 360° and the position of the shift mechanism to be changed. This function simplifies the creation of series of complex panoramic images in both horizontal and vertical orientation.
