Introducing the ETH-SP-G2 model from Ubiquiti Networks, part of the new generation of Ethernet Surge Protectors. This economical solution protects outdoor Ethernet devices from electrostatic discharges and surges. All Ubiquiti® airMAX® devices already feature built-in robust ESD protection, so adding the ETH-SP-G2 to your installation provides an additional layer of security.
PoE device protection
The ETH-SP-G2 protects Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices, as well as non-PoE equipment with connection speeds up to 1 Gb/s. Two surge-protected passive RJ45 connections ensure maximum hardware compatibility.
Ideal solution for WISP networks
All Ubiquiti airMAX devices are equipped with ESD protection; however, to protect outdoor devices and meet specific local regulatory requirements, installing the ETH-SP-G2 is essential.
