Product description
A LAN and PoE tester can easily verify the correct pin configuration for 10Base-T, 10Base-2, modular RJ45/RJ11 cables, 258A, TIA-568A/568B, and Token Ring cables. The product operates by comparing both ends of the cabling—the source and the receiving end. Thanks to the remote module, the user can test the functionality of cables whose other end is located far away and terminates at a surface-mounted socket or a patch panel. Using this device, we can easily check cable continuity and detect transmission issues such as: short circuits, incorrect pair/wire layouts, or reversed wire-to-pin connections.
