Product description
The Hoya HD UV filter works with neutral colors and is used to prevent UV rays from affecting image quality, which often occurs with scattered or hazy light. These quality-reducing UV rays are simply filtered out, allowing only visible light to reach the lens. The result is vibrant colors and high contrast. UV filters also serve another purpose: a permanently attached filter protects the front lens glass from dirt and damage.
Universal Filter
This UV filter absorbs UV radiation, especially when photographing in the mountains and by the sea. The image is free of a blue tint, the distance is suppressed, and the image contrast is increased. This universal filter is suitable for color and black and white photography.
Multifunctional Filter, Suitable for All Weather
It absorbs ultraviolet rays, which can often cause outdoor photos to appear hazy and blurry. This multifunctional filter is perfect for color and black and white film. It also serves as permanent lens protection.
HD Glass
High-density, sharply cut UV glass. Chemically enhanced optical glass is 4 times stronger and coated with a 16-layer (on both sides) non-reflective multi-layer coating.
Water and oil repellent, scratch and smudge resistant. Ultra-thin frame, compatible with wide-angle lenses. The glass is mounted using high-pressure press technology.
