PET-G CarbonLook filament (poly(ethylene terephthalate) with the addition of glycol and carbon fiber) is an easy-to-print material, featuring a satin, glossy surface and barely visible layers.
Applications: prototyping, large format prints, lampshades/enclosures.
PET-G CarbonLook by ROSA3D was designed for prints where the visual effect of the object is more important than its industrial application. It was made from PET-G material with an admixture of carbon fibers. The result is a filament with unique visual properties. Prints made from this filament have a satin, glossy surface and barely visible layers.
The properties of PET-G CarbonLook are similar to other PET-G filaments available in our range. This means easy printing, no stringing, and very good interlayer adhesion. Prints feature very good detail reproduction and a unique surface. The friction of the carbon fibers has been minimized to reduce wear and maximize the service life of brass nozzles.
PET-G CarbonLook will work great even with basic 3D printers. It does not require a heated bed or chamber. It is characterized by low shrinkage and no odor.
Recommended printing parameters
extrusion temperature 225-250°C
bed temperature: 60-80°C
fan: 0-60%print speed: 60-80 mm/sFilament does not require a heated bed or chamber. In case of adhesion problems, we recommend the use of an adhesive agent. It is recommended to enable print cooling. Fan speed should be adjusted according to printer capabilities and the geometry of the printed object.
