i-tec USB 3.0 Charging HUB 7 Port + Power Adapter is an ideal companion for anyone who lacks sufficient USB ports on their notebook, ultrabook, or PC and must constantly connect and disconnect their favorite USB peripherals, such as flash drives, mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players, printers, etc. This HUB offers 7 USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play functionality and standard USB charging—the HUB will automatically detect connected equipment for USB charging. The two ports located next to the LED also support charging according to the BC 1.2 specification, for example, for iPads or Samsung tablets. The USB 3.0 interface is primarily important for data transfers from USB 3.0 memory cards and flash drives, which will benefit most from its high transfer speeds. The advantage is the included external power adapter, which you can use for backing up data on external hard drives or for connecting high-power consumption devices that are powered directly from the USB port.
