Extralink Cat. 6A FTP is a high-quality network cable for indoor installation. Category 6a includes cabling that requires a 500 MHz bandwidth and data transmission up to 10 Gb/s (10 Gigabit Ethernet). The cable construction consists of 4 pairs of cables twisted together to eliminate electromagnetic interference. The cables are made of pure copper with a thickness of 23 AWG and an HDPE sheath. Every pair is separately shielded with aluminium foil, with an additional common shielding for all cables. The whole is covered with a combustion-safe Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) coating, in accordance with the requirements of fire safety regulations for large commercial buildings.
