Product description
Smart door and window sensor with ZigBee support
The Extralink Smart Life Door and Window Sensor is a smart door and window sensor that detects the opening and closing of doors or windows. The sensor connects to the Extralink multifunction gateway using the ZigBee protocol when added in the Tuya app and allows you to create smart home scenes. The sensor has low power consumption and long battery life. The sensor also has an anti-tamper function and a low voltage reminder.
Key features of Extralink door and window sensor
Detection of opening and closing of doors and windows
The Extralink door and window opening sensor detects the change in distance between the main and auxiliary modules, which are placed on doors or windows. When the door or window is opened or closed, the sensor sends a signal to the Extralink smart home gateway, which can activate other smart devices. For example:
Connectivity with Extralink multifunction gateway via ZigBee
Extralink Door and Window Sensor connects to the multi-function gateway Extralink Smart Life Multi-function Gateway using the Zigbe protocol via the Tuya app, which is safe, reliable and compatible with other smart devices. ZigBee is a low-power wireless communication protocol that enables the creation of mesh networks. A mesh network is a network in which each device can communicate with other devices directly or through intermediate nodes. This makes the mesh network immune to interference and ensures full signal coverage everywhere.
Low power consumption and long battery life
The Extralink door and window sensor has low power consumption and long battery life. The sensor is powered by two CR1632 batteries with a capacity of 140 mAh each. The sensor has a sleep mode that reduces power consumption to a minimum. The sensor can last up to 2 years with normal use (30 times a day). The sensor also has a low-voltage reminder function that alerts the user when the batteries need to be replaced.
Anti-tamper function and easy installation
The Extralink sensor has an anti-tamper function that prevents unauthorized removal or damage to the sensor. When someone tries to remove or tear the sensor, the sensor will send an alarm signal to the Extralink multifunction gateway, which can trigger other smart devices.
Extralink Smart Life Ecosystem
