AQARA Dual Relay Module T2 relay (DCM-K01)

Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 is a dual relay module using Zigbee technology, allowing you to control various devices such as motors, garage doors, lights, switches, and power outlets. The module can be connected in two ways: either dry contact or wet contact. This module can enhance the intelligence and potential of traditional devices. When connected to the Apple Home platform, the device can be used seamlessly through the Apple Home app. Additionally, it is widely compatible with several third-party platforms. With the hub, features such as app-based remote control, timer control, and power statistics can be implemented.

Due to the versatility of the T2 relay, it can be used in many different ways. It can be installed in ceiling lights, standard wall switches, or power outlets for remote device operation. Furthermore, it is suitable for automating coffee machines, humidifiers, electric heaters, roller blinds, and garage roller doors. Users can easily and safely connect the dual relay module to bidirectional motors. Now, the T2 can be used to control curtain motors, act as a roller shade, and even serve as the core of a system. The Dual Relay Module T2 includes a power on/off state memory function, which remembers the last state after a power outage. Additionally, it offers power measurement and statistics features.

Safety is of paramount importance when handling electrical devices. We prioritize user safety due to the complexity of installation and use. We allow for the adjustment of maximum and minimum voltage, current, and power values. In abnormal wake states, the power supply is automatically cut off to ensure safety.**

Wireless Switch Mode

Conversion to a wireless switch mode is also supported. Thanks to this feature, an existing wall switch can be converted into a scene controller: arm or disarm a security system, or control curtains or lights using only your old wired switch.***

Easy to Use and Install

Thanks to the relay's DIN-rail mounted structure, it is easy to mount in electrical cabinets and other cramped spaces. Due to its compact size, it fits even better into other wall boxes, including 86mm and US-standard boxes.****

***Note: The sensor or switch connected to the S1/S2/COM terminals must support the voltage supplied to the relay.

****Note: T2 supports a maximum current of 10 A. A wall box with a depth of approximately 60 mm is recommended. If the existing wall box is not deep enough, you can try controlling the relay with a wireless remote H1 or a surface-mounted or ultra-thin wall switch.

Use Case Examples

1. Garage Door Controller

Thanks to the dry contact mode, the Relay T2 can be used to make an existing garage door smart. Simply connect the garage door opener, and you can use the garage door in automations as well as expose it to third-party systems. Additionally, the relay acts as a repeater for the Aqara Door and Window Sensor, so you don't have to worry about a weak signal.

2. Save Energy by Controlling a Water Heater with T2

If your heater can be controlled with dry contacts, you can use the T2 relay to make it smart. As a result, you can control it remotely and save energy by linking it to air conditioner thermostats using Aqara Home or a third-party automation.

3. Install Behind Wall Switches and Power Outlets

Simply install the T2 behind an existing wall switch or power outlet to turn it smart. Consequently, current outlets and switches can participate in automations and gain the power consumption statistics function.

Note: The recommended depth for the mounting box is 60 mm.
