Schneider Electric's Wiser door / window sensor adds security to your home at an affordable price. The sensor consists of two detachable parts that detect the opening of a door or window by means of a magnet. This information can be utilized in many ways in home control. If a sensor attached to the front door detects that the door has opened, the device can be set to automatically turn on the lights in the hallway. In the absence, the device can, for example, activate the vestibule camera to capture the entrant. From the Wiser application, you can always see the status of the door / window sensor remotely, so the user can check if a door or window is left open. The door / window sensor can also be set to send a notification to the phone if the door is opened.
Wiser is an evolving smart home system that is easy to install and customize to the needs and preferences of each home. Wiser allows home residents to use their smartphone as a home controller using the Wiser by SE app . Wiser is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. All devices connected to the home are visible and manageable in Wiser by SE. Open and certified Zigbee 3.0 guarantees extensibility on 3rd party devices - certification is a guarantee of compatibility. This is a widely used standard involving more than 450 manufacturers. Devices manufactured by SE can also be used in other applications. The solution can easily be extended retrospectively, for example with SE's new equipment.
