Jalo Helsinki Flight 10 fire alarm, gray-white, optical, 18.5 cm (JALO-J4C-03)

The Jalo Helsingin Lento 10 fire alarm is a unique, playful fire alarm designed by Paola Suhonen. This alarm is even suitable as a decorative detail for a children's room or as an accent for home decor.

The device operates using optical smoke detection technology. Photoelectric or optical detection is the most common and reliable technology in fire alarms; when smoke is detected, a loud and continuous 85 dB warning sound is emitted from the detector. Jalo fire alarms also feature a diagnostic function that allows the device to check itself at regular intervals to ensure proper operation throughout its lifespan.

The alarm features quick installation using either 3M mounting tape or mounting screws, both of which are included in the package. The fire alarm is activated during installation simply by removing the protective plastic from the tape. Authorities recommend replacing fire alarms no later than every ten years; the Lento 10 fire alarm does not require battery replacement during its recommended lifetime.
