The Pebble SA700 is an optical fire alarm designed by Lars Wettre. Pebble’s appearance is soft and aesthetically pleasing, so it blends into every home.
The optical fire alarm is the most common type of fire alarm and reacts quickly to smoldering fires and the smoke particles they generate. The optical detector is sensitive to small particles, so the fire alarm should not be placed where it can cause a false alarm.
The Pebble alarm has a low battery indicator and a test function. The battery supplied with the product lasts for about a year. For safety reasons, the installation requires that the battery be in place in the smoke alarm. The fire alarm should be tested once a week and replaced every ten years.
