The Airthings Wave Mini air quality meter detects the total volatile organic compound (TVOC), temperature and humidity of the room air. The mini visually indicates air quality with colors and the easy-to-use application provides very accurate additional information about the measurement results. The Wave Mini also supports the Airthings Hub accessory.
In the autumn of 2020, a software update has been introduced to the Mini for homerisk detection. The device is not able to detect mold, but when properly installed it is able to give an assessment of the risk of mold growth. The estimate is based on an algorithm that utilizes temperature and humidity. More information about the function can be found in English .
