Product description
The Philips DST5030/20 steam iron heats up quickly and works efficiently. It makes ironing easy, because the abundant steam it creates removes even the most difficult wrinkles quickly. Its non-stick and scratch-resistant SteamGlide Plus sole glides easily on all fabrics, and its internal CalcClean function helps the iron maintain full power from one ironing to the next.
The fine water spray of the product's fixed atomizer moistens the textiles evenly and thus makes ironing easier. It produces up to 45g of steam per minute, and by pressing the extra steam jet, you get an additional 180g of steam, smoothing out even the last stubborn wrinkles effortlessly. The iron's drip lock system prevents excessive water droplets from spilling, so ironing can be done carefree at any temperature. Thanks to the large 320 ml water tank, the steam lasts for a long time, so you can iron large amounts at once. You can also conveniently use vertical steaming to freshen clothes with a clothes hanger and straighten curtains in place. Then you don't even need an ironing board.
The iron has a durable, large-sized and easy-care SteamGlide Plus sole that glides easily on all fabrics. In addition, it is non-stick, non-scratch and very easy to clean. Thanks to the CalcClean slide switch, you can easily remove limescale accumulated on the iron, so you prevent the accumulation of limescale particles in the device. You can use ordinary tap water in the water tank of this steam iron. When using tap water, descale once a month to keep your iron performing at its best. This iron automatically shuts off after 30 seconds if the device is left on its side or with the soleplate facing down. If the device is not used, it turns off automatically after eight minutes.
