Thanks to the English-language control panel and instruction manual, choosing the right wash program is easy and you avoid user errors. The four instructions include a steaming function, so your laundry is less wrinkled, smells fresh, and you don't need to use rinse aids. The end result is soft and comfortable to the touch - without additives!

The advanced wave-patterned drum and 3D wash lids treat your clothes even more gently, with fewer wrinkles - less ironing. During the wash cycle, the fibers of your clothes are softened, making it easier to handle your laundry after washing. The machine's reinforced side panels ensure that no resonance sounds are emitted from your machine.

The programs are very versatile; for example, you can choose your own default settings for temperature or spin speed for each program. The next time you use the selected program, the machine will suggest your own settings. Of course, you can change them for each wash. There is a program for baby clothes, sportswear, or bed linen, for example. Cotton, synthetic blends, and wool textiles have their own special programs, all tailored to their specific fabrics. It can be said that if you can wet a textile, this machine has the right program for it.

The machine features new washing programs specifically designed to meet the needs of today's busy consumer. More clothes are being washed in batches, but they are being washed more often. There are two new programs for this: team wash in 59 minutes, which is for clothes that are already a little more soiled. In just 59 minutes, the machine will always give you an A wash! Even faster is the tea wash in around 30 minutes, which always gives an A wash result in around half an hour. This program is particularly suitable for lightly soiled laundry, such as clothes that have been worn for a day. The cold-water quick-wash program is only 15 minutes long. This super-fast program is made for sportswear and lightly soiled laundry, for example, and for loads of around a kilo. In addition to these fast programs, you can shorten the duration of all other programs with a separate quick button; one press shortens the program and two presses shorten it even further. This function is particularly useful when washing under-machined, lightly soiled laundry.

The timer is adjustable from 1 to 24 hours, allowing you to use inexpensive night-time electricity. Depending on the program, the extra water button allows you to select either higher water levels for washing, rinsing, or extra rinsing. If you forget a shirt in the machine and start it up, you can add it to the laundry before the actual wash program starts.

If you wash a lot with detergent powder and only at low temperatures, your machine can develop an unpleasant smell over time from residual detergent. For this, the Upo PI712BS washing machine has a self-cleaning program, a dedicated program for cleaning the internal parts of the machine. The machine takes a lot of water, high temperature, and efficiently spins the drum of detergents inside without washing the laundry. This way, the machine cleans itself in every nook and cranny, and both your machine and your laundry will always be fresh and smell great. Finally, the machine freshens itself up with a steam function.

The machine's new automation also helps you in use; it will tell you if there is a problem with the water circulation (e.g., clean the pump) or if you accidentally use too much detergent, it will guide the machine to use less. If you have washed more than 40 wash cycles at temperatures below 60⁰, the machine will prompt you to use the self-cleaning program and clean the inside of the machine. These all improve the wash result and extend the economic life of the machine.
