MagSafe charging is compatible with all iPhones from the 12 series onwards, while the HARDY® MagCharger also supports the Qi charging standard, so it will successfully charge any device that has Qi wireless charging.

How is HARDY® MagCharger powered?
The HARDY® MagCharger is powered using the included USB-C cable, which will draw power from the cigarette lighter socket or the built-in USB port in the car (a charger for the cigarette lighter socket is not included).

Why isn't my phone charging?
Check if the back surface of the phone is covered with metallic materials, such as a plate, ring, metal or overly thick protective case. The HARDY® MagCharger has appropriate protections and may cut off the power if it detects foreign metallic elements near the magnetic charging surface to protect the device.

During charging, both the phone and the charger heat up, is that normal?
Heating up of inductive chargers – charging other devices is nothing to worry about, as the production of a magnetic field and, consequently, energy generates considerable amounts of heat, which heats the battery and the charger itself.
