ASUS RT-AX53U (AX1800) Dual-band WiFi router (90IG06P0-MO3500)

Get WiFi 6 (802.11ax) ready for your home

The Asus RT-AX53U is a dual-band 2x2 WiFi router that offers significantly faster connectivity with 80 MHz bandwidth and 1024-QAM technology.

The growing number of personal and IoT network devices is placing even greater demands on today's Wi-Fi networks. The latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard delivers time-resilient technology, more efficient Wi-Fi networks, faster data transfer, better connectivity and lower power consumption of connected devices, resulting in a much better overall network experience. * To take advantage of WiFi 6 (802.11ax), 802.11ax-compatible devices are required.

Next-generation Wi-Fi speeds. RT-AX53U is a dual-frequency 2x2 WiFi router that delivers significantly faster connection with 80 MHz bandwidth and 1024-QAM technology. The RT-AX53U has a total network speed of around 1,800 Mbps - 574 Mbps at 2.4GHz and, 1,201 Mbps at 5GHz - making it 1.5 times faster than dual-frequency 802.11ac 2x2 routers.

Designed for multi-device households. With OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, the 802.11ax standard delivers up to four times better network capacity and efficiency in environments with heavy network traffic. In previous generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi networks, each channel can only be used by one device at a time, resulting in inefficient use of the available bandwidth. The OFDMA technology in WiFi 6 (802.11ax) breaks each channel into smaller subchannels, allowing signals from multiple devices* to be combined and transmitted simultaneously, reducing latency and streamlining the Wi-Fi network experience.

Protects device battery life. The Target Wake Time (TWT) feature allows the RT-AX53U to specify specific time slots for data transmission. Terminals can save power by not having to wait for a signal from the router, reducing power consumption by up to 7 times and significantly improving battery life.

More Wi-Fi. With the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard using OFDMA technology, the RT-AX53U improves the reach and coverage of your Wi-Fi network by splitting each channel into smaller subchannels. The smaller bandwidth allows subchannels to reach up to 80% further1, making your Wi-Fi network more audible in every corner of your home.

Protect your home network. The RT-AX53U includes commercial-grade ASUS AiProtection network protection powered by Trend Micro™ Smart Home Network. AiProtection protects all connected devices even if they don't have their own virus protection - like IoT devices. AiProtection blocks common internet-based attacks before they reach the network, and if an infected device is connected to the network, AiProtection immediately blocks its traffic to prevent personal data from being sent to malicious servers.

Connection options. The RT-AX53U has one Gigabit WAN port, three Gigabit LAN ports and a USB 2.0 port*. You can connect your smart TV, gaming consoles, NAS devices, backup connection and other devices to their own ports, making the RT-AX53U the hub of your digital home.

Reliable management and optimization with ASUSWRT. ASUSWRT's management view lets you intuitively configure, monitor and control network applications. ASUSWRT maximizes the performance of your network by providing fast deployment, multi-device detection and flexible settings.

Expandable router. If your WiFi signal isn't strong enough to cover your entire home, it can be difficult to establish a stable enough connection. This annoying problem can also be costly. However, there is a simple solution to this problem - ASUS expandable routers. Virtually all ASUS routers use AiMesh technology. ASUS routers can be interconnected, creating a strong and comprehensive WiFi network without dead spots. Easy to install and use, the network extenders offer excellent performance and a wide range of smart features. Users with no previous networking experience can easily set up a network in just a few steps, and more experienced users will appreciate the advanced networking features of the router. You can start with just one router and expand your network with more devices later. Perhaps you need a discreet router for the bedroom and a powerful gaming router for the game corner?
