TV tuners
A TV tuner receives digital television and puts the channels on your screen - useful when a TV lacks support for the local broadcast standard or when you want to watch live TV on a computer monitor. The category includes set-top receivers for terrestrial (DVB-T2), cable and satellite television, plus USB tuners for PCs and laptops. The signal standard is the deciding factor, so confirm which format your home receives. Handy extras include recording broadcasts to an external drive, pause-and-rewind viewing, an HDMI output for modern screens and a composite output for older TV sets.
