Digital terrestrial TV can be watched without a cable subscription - all it takes is a suitable antenna and a receiver that supports DVB-T2. The category includes indoor antennas for flats within strong signal range, outdoor and loft-mounted models for houses further from the transmitter, and signal amplifiers for spots at the edge of coverage. When choosing, consider the reception range, whether an amplifier is built in, and which frequency bands it covers, terrestrial TV, FM radio, or both. Outdoor antennas also come with a mast or wall bracket and a cable of suitable length.
