Keyboards
Mechanical or membrane is the first question when choosing a keyboard: mechanical switches give a precise, durable keystroke, while membrane boards run quieter and cost less. This category also splits by format - full-size layouts, compact versions without a number pad and wireless models that keep the desk tidy. Check the layout and the connection type, whether cable, Bluetooth or a USB receiver. Gamers benefit from backlighting and anti-ghosting for simultaneous presses; for late-night work, look for boards with silent switches.
