Play mats and bouncers
A play mat and a bouncer give a baby a safe spot to play and rest while parents have their hands free for other things. Mats are usually softly padded, often with raised edges and an overhead arch for hanging toys that encourage grasping and visual tracking. Bouncers let a baby rest or gently rock in a semi-reclined position, and some models let you adjust the backrest angle. When choosing, check the padding thickness, the overall size, and whether the cover comes off for washing.
