Guitars and accessories
A beginner's guitar and an experienced player's guitar differ less in price than in how forgiving the instrument is of imprecise technique and how well it holds its tuning. The category includes acoustic, classical and electric guitars, plus accessories - strings, picks, straps, tuners and carrying cases. For a first guitar, pay attention to body size relative to the player's height and to the string height above the fretboard, which directly determines how much the fingers hurt at first.
